Autumn is when Hampshire's business calendar gets busy. If you only go to a handful of larger events a year, these are the dates worth knowing.

October

  • Hampshire Business Show 2026, Thursday 22 October at Utilita Bowl, West End. Free to attend.
  • The Big Sustainability Expo 2026, Thursday 29 October, also at Utilita Bowl. Free, run by the Southern Sustainability Partnership.

November

  • Business South Annual Conference, Thursday 5 November at Utilita Bowl.
  • Basingstoke Business Week Skills Summit, Thursday 12 November at the Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke. Free.
  • Venturefest South's Festival of Innovation, Wednesday 18 November at Utilita Bowl, marking the festival's tenth year.
  • B2BX Farnborough 2026, Thursday 19 November at Farnborough International. Free.
  • B2BX Southampton Expo, Thursday 26 November at St Mary's Stadium. Free.

Making the most of a big day

Larger events reward a little planning. Look at the exhibitor and speaker lists beforehand, pick three or four people you'd like to meet, and leave time between sessions to talk. Book any paid workshops early, as they tend to fill first.
